Gonzaga professor, award-winning poet and Washington State Poet Laureate, Tod Marshall, will offer a free poetry/writing workshop at the Shoalwater Bay Tribal Community Library this Saturday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Marshall was born in Buffalo and grew up in Wichita, Kan. He studied English and philosophy at Siena Heights University, earned an MFA from Eastern Washington University, and graduated with his PhD from the University of Kansas.
He lives in Spokane and teaches at Gonzaga University, where he is the Robert K. and Ann J. Powers professor Chair of the Humanities.
