The Grays Harbor Relay for Life’s Super Hero Kick-Off Party is scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 10, at the D & R Event Center, 207 South I St. in Aberdeen.

Everyone is welcome for fun, food and prizes.

Do you know someone affected by cancer? Grab your cape or favorite pair of tights and learn how you can be a “hero” by raising funds for research and services for cancer survivors, organizers said.

Teams are forming now. Adult teams, schools, organizations and company teams can sign up at the Kick-Off Party or online at www.relayforlife.org/graysharborwa. Students are encouraged to form teams to earn community service hours.

The main Relay for Life Event is June 2, at the Hoquiam High School track.
