Three more COVID-19 deaths were reported in Grays Harbor County Tuesday, bringing the county’s total to 10.
There was one COVID-19 death reported in the county in July, five in August and now four in September. Keeping with its policy Public Health did not release additional information on the deaths reported Tuesday.
Grays Harbor Public Health announced there were five new cases of COVID-19 reported Tuesday, bringing the total case count to 510. There have been 210 cases of COVID-19 reported in the county in the month of September, surpassing August’s total of 188. The active case count stood at 84 Tuesday, with 236 active case investigations underway.
In Pacific County, two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday, both in children under the age of 10.
Pacific County Health and Human Services said the two children are part of the same household and isolating at home. Case investigations and contact tracing are ongoing.
Monday’s two cases bring the county’s total to 81. The county is also monitoring three probable cases, according to Public Health.
