Allen Fletcher, 83, of Hoquiam, peacefully passed away at 2:25 p.m. July 26, 2018, at the Avamere at Pacific Ridge Nursing Home in Tacoma, Wash. He was born May 12, 1935, in Hoquiam, Wash., to Bill and Helen Fletcher.
He attended Hoquiam High School and Grays Harbor Community College, then served honorably in the National Guard for six years. He worked for 31 years at the U.S. Postal Service retiring in June, 1990.
On his first marriage, he had three children, Suzette, Janette and Daniel. Later, Allen married Lorna Pamilacan, who had two children, Daniel and Dante.
Allen enjoyed a simple life with his greatest pleasures being camping, bowling, traveling and his 1957 Chevy. He relished in sharing road trips with family, especially along the coast.
Allen is survived by his wife, Lorna Fletcher and his children, Suzette Krause, Janette Fletcher and Daniel Fletcher and his stepsons, Daniel Ligaya and Dante Ligaya, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The impact he had on his loved ones will remain in our hearts to be honored throughout the next generation. He is missed and loved by all.
