Andrea “Andi” Swan was born April 4, 1964, in Everett, Washington, and passed away on Aug. 5, 2021.
Andi attended Auburn High School and furthered her education at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. Andi married her devoted husband, Kelly Swan, on Dec. 7, 1991. They had two daughters, Hailey and Courtney, whom she loved very much.
Andi found fulfillment in her previous career working with persons with health disabilities, where she was able to make a positive impact in their lives. Andi had many interests. She found a love for floral arranging many years ago, and she graciously utilized this gift for many special occasions. Her passion for animals was no secret as any stray animal could find a loving home with her. She also enjoyed spending time creating a variety of arts and crafts.
Andi had a large mixed family whom she loved dearly. Her parents, Robert and Margaret Kelsey adopted Andi as an infant and her adoptive brother, Greg Kelsey. Years later, she reached out to her birth parents, Jake Ross and Carol Monte, and developed a bond with them both. From this bond, she gained a stepmother, Fairlynn Ross, and a stepfather, Alan Monte. She also found her sister, Shonda Bolen, and her brothers, Corey Brown and L.B. Ross, formed loving relationships.
Andi is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Kelly Swan, her daughters Hailey Swan and Courtney (Kyle) Robbins, parents Carol (Alan) Monte, stepmother Fairlynn Ross, siblings, three nephews, one niece and her four-legged children, Daisy Duke and Dakota.
Andi had asked that she be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at her favorite place, Flathead Lake in Polson, Montana at a later date with family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local humane society in Andrea Swan’s name.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
