Barbara Alice Gravelle (nee Strozyk), 70, of Frances, Wash., passed away Thursday Jan. 19, 2017, at Providence Hospital in Centralia, Wash. She was born Sept. 26, 1946, to Leo and Virginia Strozyk of Frances, Wash.
Barbara graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Toledo, Wash. She was a very positive person and loved sewing, crafts, gardening, mountains, gold panning, hunting, and fishing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bour, of 11 years, who is residing at their family home in Frances; four sons, Michael Thaxton, Richard Thaxton, James Patton, and Chane Kalista; a brother Stanley Strozyk; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, at Lebam Community Church, 2336 State Route 6, Lebam, WA 98577. There will be a time of reflection to share a memory of Barb with all. Bring a dish and enjoy a social time after service in the fellowship hall.
