Bobbie Jean Marlow, born Sept. 7, 1935, in Boston, Ky. passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Aberdeen, Wash. surrounded by her loving family.

Bobbie Jean Marlow, born Sept. 7, 1935, in Boston, Ky., passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Aberdeen, Wash., surrounded by her loving family.

Bobbie grew up in Kentucky, where she graduated from high school in 1954 and met her husband, Donald J. Marlow Sr. They married in 1955 and moved to Hoquiam, Wash., where they made their home and raised five children.

Bobbie was a homemaker who also worked a short time at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

Bobbie was a member of Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary. She also volunteered her time at the local food bank and with the Feed the Hungry program.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Bush, of Elizabeth Town, Ky.; her five children, Donald J. Marlow Jr. (Loretta) of Hoquiam; Kathy A. Brewer (Jim) of Rock Hill, S.C.; Judy Renae Green (Albert) of Mt. Home, Idaho; Brad Marlow (Carrie) and Tara S. Johnson (Chris) of Aberdeen; ten grandchildren that she adored, Dameon and Carlin Marlow, James and David Hundley, Krystal Eschenbacher and Shalyne Green, Jesse and Aaron Marlow, Brianna and Matthew Johnson; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and her cherished cat, Cali.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Don.

The Recitation of the Rosary will be at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church, 200 L Street in Hoquiam.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017, also at Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam with Father Steve Roman, presiding celebrant.

The graveside service with vault interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Direction is by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam.
