Bonnie Day Williams, 91, of Montesano, passed away peacefully at Riverside Memory Care in Hoquiam, Washington on February 17th, 2024. She was born October 21, 1932 to Everett and Bertha Hurd in Hoquiam. Shortly after graduation from Hoquiam High school, she moved to Seattle to attend college and work in her uncle’s restaurant until starting her family.

She was a 60+ year life-member of Eastern Star and a member of the Hoquiam Elks. She enjoyed camping, gardening, clam digging, beach combing and almost any outdoors activity. She made jewelry for their Lapidary business as they traveled to Street Fairs and Swap meets and enjoyed occasional visits to the casino for dinner with friends and luck. She was also great cook with many family recipes to share.

Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Harvey Williams. Bonnie and Harvey logged many miles exploring and traveling across the US in their motorhome with their special feline companion, Blackie. They spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona with snowbird friends enjoying the warm sunny winters.

Bonnie is survived by her four children, William, Michael (Dana), Lorin (Laurie) Perry and Rebecca (Mark) Crowe and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks to Bonnie’s caregivers, Shelly Perry and Kerri Sweet who made her last years at home so comfortable.

A celebration of life will be held at 23725 196th Ave SE, Maple Valley, WA 98038 on May 25th, 2024 at 1 p.m.
