Carol Arlene Giroski, 86, of Grayland, on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at Montesano, went to be with the love of her life after being apart (her, here on earth and her husband, being in Heaven) for eight years.
Carol was born on July 22, 1930, in Doty, Wash., to Arnold and Elula (Sheppard) Rhodes.
She married Alvin Giroski on Feb. 4, 1950, in Renton, Wash.
Once married they moved to Quinault, Wash., where they began their family, first a son, Bradley Giroski and then a daughter, Cheri (Giroski) Bemis. Carol was a homemaker, wife to an Alaskan crab fisherman, and a wonderful mother, grandmother, caring friend, and all around classy, kind-hearted, beautiful lady. Her hobbies included, knitting, sewing, baking, cooking, latch hook, and spending time with her grand and great-grandkids. She loved and cherished every moment she had with family and will be truly missed by many.
Carol is survived by a sister, Janet Barney of California; a son, Bradley Giroski and his wife, Becky Giroski of Hoquiam; a daughter, Cheri (Giroski) Bemis and her husband, Steve Bemis of Hoquiam; four grandchildren, Brenda (Giroski) Blood and her husband, Jeremy Blood of Hoquiam, Raina (Bemis) Mefford and her husband, Derek Mefford of Grayland, Josh Giroski of Hoquiam, and Katie Giroski of Hoquiam; eight great-grandkids and other relatives.
At Carol’s request there will be no services.
