On July 11, 2024, at 6:32 p.m., Carol Beth Olson, surrounded by her family, peacefully passed into eternity at the age of 91.
She leaves behind a legacy of doing for others and community involvement, as well as a fairly large family.
She married Erling “Ole” Olson in December of 1954. He preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by children: Jeff (Linda) Olson, Chuck (Kim) Olson, Kathy (Christian) Hausmann, David (Tonya) Olson and Scott Olson, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
It is difficult to justly sum up a person’s life in a paragraph of two, so her following is only a snap shot of some of her favorite things, in no particular order: Family, Seahawks, knitting her famous slippers for everyone, trips to the casinos, Mariners, talking, music of all kinds, sending birthday cards and cracking jokes.
She was a unique person and definitely left her footprint on this earth. She will be missed and most certainly remembered.
