Carol G Willis, 86, of Montesano Washington died at Summit Pacific Hospital on Sept. 30, 2022.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1936, in Kalispell, Montana to Charles and Margaret Frach. She had one brother, James, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children: Rhonda Passmore and her husband Phil, Neil Hoiland and his wife Sabrina, and Dawn Bolvin and her husband John and her stepchildren Dorothy Halvorson and Virginia Emery. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman, her father Charles, her mother Margaret, her brother James, and her stepson Tony.
Carol worked for years at JC Penney in Aberdeen before marrying Norman on Jan 2, 1979. She then joined Norman as a dairy and agricultural farmer. She was always known as a very hard worker and helped take care of Norman’s parents in their later years.
Carol was a very kind and caring person and had a great love of animals. Some of her pets included a Poodle named “Beau Bear,” a Chihuahua named “Snickers,” and her most recent dog, a Yorky named “Toby.”
A very important day in Carol’s life was June 22, 1963, the day she got baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved the Bible’s message in Psalms 37:29 – “The meek will inherit the earth and reside forever on it.” She was confident in that promise right up to falling asleep in death.
Carol will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
There will be a memorial service on Oct. 15, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Elma, Washington at 2 p.m. In addition to the in-person service, it can be viewed via Zoom teleconferencing. Details can be obtained from the family.
