Casey L. Rager

Casey was born in Aberdeen Sept. 13, 1966, to Richard (Dick) and Evelyn Good Rager.

Casey passed away Aug. 20, 2020, at his home at North River.

Casey was raised on the Harbor where he attended school and pretty much resided in the North River area his whole life.

Casey was a logger and worked for various logging companies, including Weyerhaeuser where he worked for several years.

Casey recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a union Ironworker and was proud to be a member of Ironworkers Local 86 at the time of his passing.

Casey loved the outdoors — hunting, fishing, clam digging, tree falling, motorcycles and concerts.

Casey was preceded in death by his dad who passed away Sept. 26, 2019.

Casey is survived by his mom Evelyn Yurkas (Joe) of Montesano; daughter Christina.; son Sullivan; daughter Hanna (Tonya); daughter Maliah (Monica); sisters Kimberly Freeman (Jack), Lisa Rager, Lori Rager; nephew Andrew Freeman, aunts, uncles and cousins.

We will be celebrating Casey’s life Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Stop and Smell the Flowers, 36 North Winkleman Road in Montesano.
