Cathy went to work as a hearing aid specialist and had done this for many years.
Earlier in life Cathy had met the love of her life, Jorma Kallio and they later married in Elko, Nevada. Jorma and Cathy were happily married until his passing in 1996. Cathy never remarried but became close with Robert “Bob” Perry and they had lived together for 15 years, taking care of each other. Cathy faithfully attended services at Saron Lutheran Church in Hoquiam. She was a very involved member at the church.
