Daniel Glen Keith, 70, former Cosmopolis resident and Customer Service Rep for Lindal Cedar Homes in Seattle, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Rainier Rehabilitation Center in Puyallup, Wash., following a period of declining health.

Daniel Glen Keith, 70, former Cosmopolis resident and customer service representative for Lindal Cedar Homes in Seattle, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Rainier Rehabilitation Center in Puyallup, Wash., following a period of declining health.

Daniel was born on Dec. 24, 1946, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Glen and Evelyn Ruth (Chancelor) Keith. He graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1965. In 1966 he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed on the USS Princeton, Long Beach, Calif. He served for four years, and was awarded a Vietnam Service Medal, two Bronze Stars, and a National Defense Service Medal. After his discharge he moved to the Tacoma area and went to Clover Park Voc. Tech. Inst., where he graduated with a degree in Drafting.

Daniel worked as a customer service rep for Lindal Cedar Homes for many years and retired in 2008. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, woodworking, playing casino poker, traveling, and was an avid Seahawks & Mariners fan. Above all, he enjoyed coming back to the Harbor for family gatherings and greatly enjoyed spending time with his many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his brother, David Keith of North River and two sisters: Carol Fitzpatrick of North River and Judy Redder of Ridgefield, Conn. He was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Keith.

There will be a private family gathering at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
