Our dad, Daniel Richey went to be with his parents and brother Grant on Feb. 16, 2023. Dad was born on Oct. 8, 1950, in Raymond, Washington to Glen and Phyllis Richey .

Dad spent 36 years as a millwright and forklift operator at Weyerhaeuser. He served on the South Bend Police Department beside many of his friends, retiring due to medical issues he continued to fight throughout his life.

Dad’s passion were fishing the Willapa River, hunting the Willapa Hills and telling stories with friends at the many coffee stops he made.

Dad is survived by his brother Mike (Shelly), sister Karen (Chuck) Kohls, brother Steve, brother Lonnie(Candie) Ansley; his boys, who he cherished: Michael (Tammy), Jojo (Terril), and Colby(Michelle), eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as his wife Gloria of 21 years, along with her four children Charley, Valerie, Karrey and Jennifer.

A celebration of life will be held March 11, 2023, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 337 7th St., Raymond, WA . Please join us in celebrating our Dad’s life.
