Dann Joseph Fassnacht, age 62, a resident of Hoquiam, died on May 30, 2017, at his home in Hoquiam. Dann was born on July 29, 1954, in Aberdeen to Joseph and Ernestine (McMillan) Fassnacht. He was raised in Hoquiam and later graduated from Grays Harbor College.

On June 20, 1986, he and Mary Brester were married.

He had worked for Grays Harbor College for 23 years in parking and security enforcement.

He was an avid photographer and is remembered as a good family man.

In addition to his wife, Mary, surviving relatives include his step-daughter, Kelly Brester of Hoquiam; a daughter, Heather Jo Fassnacht of Everett, Wash.; two grandchildren Justin and Chris Fassnacht of Everett; his mother Ernestine Mendenhall of Hoquiam and a sister, Debbie Johnson of Hoquiam. Two brothers, Jeff and Mark Fassnacht died previously.

An urn committal service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
