On Saturday Jan. 9, 2021 David Yonich, loving husband and father of two stepchildren passed away at the age of 66. David was born in Aberdeen, Washington to John Joseph Yonich and Betty Lou Gamin.
He attended Aberdeen schools graduating from Weatherwax Highschool class of 1973. Upon graduation he attended The Perry Institute in Yakima, Washington.
David worked in lumber sales for many years. He then went on to establish his own business TapTek servicing many establishments in the beverage industry. David had a love of technology. His friends called him the gadget guy, always having the latest versions of everything. He had a love of travel, especially to Mexico and to his second home in Arizona. He also enjoyed his beloved Camaro and was his happiest driving fast with the top down.
On Jan. 23, 2010, David married his longtime soul mate Lisa Ann Kennedy.
David made many friends throughout his journey in life and was known for his quick wit, dry sense of humor, infectious smile and kind heart. David was proceeded in death by his father John, mother Betty Lou, and sister Jonnie. He is survived by his wife Lisa, his two stepchildren Jason Stricevich (Krista) and Jessica Fuller (James), brother Michael, sisters Cheri Ann and Tawney Fae, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren; and his faithful companions Tiffany and Chubby.
At this time there will be no service due to Covid restrictions. A celebration will be planned for a later date.
