James R. ‘Jim’ Stamateou

Aberdeen resident James R. “Jim” Stamateou, a former dental technician, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at his home in Central Park. He was 94.

He known for his exceptional woodworking skills and craftsmanship from bowls and cabinets to construction of the Rotary Log Pavilion.

There will be a celebration of his life at a later date and an obituary with details will follow in The Daily World. Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
