Jerry Melvin Shapansky

Jerry Melvin Shapansky of Cosmopolis died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at home. He was 80.

A service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Cosmopolis Lions Club. Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Sharon U. Johnson died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 at the age of 83 from a long battle with cancer.

She graduated from Grays Harbor Beauty College and had her own business, Kalona’s Beauty Care doing home appointments for over 10 years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Central Park Baptist Church in Aberdeen. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
