Rodney Howard Downey, a 59-year-old-resident of Elma, died Saturday. Sept. 2, 2023 at home.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Richard. Covall

Hoquiam resident Richard Glen Covall died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, in Aberdeen. He was 69.

He had worked as a general laborer and in earlier years, for the railroad.

Arrangements are pending at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Janet M. Kimmerly

Janet Marie Kimmerly, a longtime McCleary resident and former caregiver, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, in her McCleary home. She was 62.

A charity poker run will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, beginning at the New Alibi Station in Elma at 11 a.m.. The entry fee is $10 with an 80/20 split on best hand.

Private family services have been scheduled. Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
