Former Grays Harbor resident Karen Elaine Huffman of Siletz, Oregon died Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in Corvallis, Oregon. She was 71.

She had worked at Walden Books.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 26 at the Siletz Community Center. Arrangements are by Bateman Funeral Home in Newport, Oregon.

Arlan F. Cook

Arlan Frederick Cook, a longtime Elma resident and former construction superintendent, died Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Satsop. He was 89.

No formal services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Donald R. Moore

Donald R. Moore, age 90, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

He had worked as a forester, both in Forks and most recently in Hoquiam.

Arrangements are pending at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Ernest L. Obi

Ernest L. Obi, of Hoquiam, died Friday, May 10, 2024, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 66.

He had worked as a splitterman and block cutter.

A celebration of life and dinner will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Queets Gymnasium. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
