Dianne Owens

Dianne Owens, a former resident of Aberdeen, died Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the age of 70.

She was developmentally disabled and active in ARC.

Her funeral will be held at Monroe Covenant Church, 202 S. Sams St., at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6.

Kenneth Bunbury

Kenneth Bunbury, a resident of Taholah, died Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 88.

He came to Taholah 25 years ago from Tacoma where he had been an automotive mechanic.

Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 28. A dinner will follow at the beach in Taholah.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Carol A. Gleason

Aberdeen resident Carol Ann Gleason, 77, died Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen.

She and her husband Noel owned and operated the Breakers Motel/Go Karts in Westport from 1995 to 2022.

A memorial service will be held at the Central Park Neighborhood Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, .

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Christopher A. Peek

Grays Harbor resident Christopher Allen Peek died Sunday, June 9, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He was 53.

After graduating from Elma High School in 1989, he joined the Marine Corps and served four years during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Elma followed by a potluck

Donations are suggested to the Relay for Life.

Raymond E. Thayer Sr.

Raymond Eugene Thayer Sr. of Hoquiam died Monday, June 17, 2024, at home. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he came to the Harbor and worked as a diesel mechanic, then drove Log Truck for G.T. Anderson, Fred B. Moe Trucking and Willis Enterprises.

There will be an urn committal service at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27,at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park. Military honors will be provided by the US VNavy.
