Colin Czichas of Aberdeen died Friday, July 5, 2024, at the age of 69.

He was a firefighter.

There will be a graveside service at the Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19. Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Kathleen L. “Horse” Bastian-Jones

Kathleen Lee “Horse” Bastian-Jones of Aberdeen died Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at University Medical Center in Seattle. She was 65.

She had worked as a cook for the school district at Little Boston and in Taholah at the hatchery tagging fish and as a cook.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, July 20, at the Chehalis Community Center in Oakville. Interment will follow at the Benn Cemetery in Oakville. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, in Hoquiam.
