John K. Walczak

John Kenneth Walczak, a lifetime Aberdeen resident, died Monday, July 15, 2024, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 86.

He had been a hooktender for Weyerhaeuser Timber.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen. A full obituary with details will follow in The Daily World. Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Melvin H. Groves

Ocean Shores resident Melvin Harold Groves died Friday, July 19, 2024, at home. He was 74.

Paul Gilbert Pankow, a 66-year-old resident of Ocean Shores, died Thursday, July 18, 2024, at home.
