A celebration of life for Wishkah Valley resident and former teacher, Robert Lester ‘Bob’ Mill who died May 5, 2017, will be held on Sunday at Noon at the Tradewinds on the Bay in Tokeland.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home of Aberdeen.

Daniel R. Sjolsvold

Daniel Roy Sjolsvold, Aberdeen resident, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at his home in Aberdeen. He was 60.

The family is planning a wake to celebrate Daniel’s life.

Viola M. Wilson

Viola Maye (Savage) Nations Wilson, longtime Hoquiam resident died Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was 81.

At her request there will be no public viewing or funeral.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary of Hoquiam.

Dennis M. “Brodie” Broten

SEATTLE — Dennis Merle “Brodie” Broten of Cosmopolis died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. He was 34.

He had worked as a diesel technician in Cosmopolis.

Services are being planned and will be announced as soon as details become available.

Dordlee Buckmaster

Dordlee Buckmaster of Westport, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 69.

Alvaro M. Ramirez

ELMA — Alvaro Merino Ramirez of Elma, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma. He was 27.

Visitation and Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Elma followed by a funeral Mass at 6 p.m. He will be buried in his hometown at Conception Carrizal, Oaxaca, Mexico.
