MONTESANO — Elsie Ruth Pettis of Montesano died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 78.

Services are being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Olga Hindman

Visitation and viewing for longtime Aberdeen resident Olga Hindman, who died Dec. 8, in Hoquiam, will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday also at the funeral home with burial to follow in Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen. A reception will take place at the Aberdeen Elks at 1 p.m.

Harold Simmons

Hoquiam resident Harold Simmons died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 94.

He worked in logging and construction most of his life.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post No. 94 in Lacey or the Hoquiam Food Bank.

A memorial service and interment will be in the spring at Floral Hills in Lynnwood.

Jean Kyle

Jean E. Kyle of Ocean Shores died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 94.

Marjorie E. Johnson of Pacific Beach died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 73.

Evelyn G. Haas of South Bend died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. She was 97.

Jerry E. Gaffney

CENTRALIA — Jerry Edward Gaffney of Centralia died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Centralia. He was 70.

A memorial service will be held at the Central Park Neighborhood Church and details will be announced at a later date.
