Kathleen “Kathy” Short

Kathleen M. “Kathy” Short, 67, died on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. She was born on Aug. 22, 1952, in Aberdeen to Delbert and Norma (Ask) Finch.

Kathy and Fred owned and operated Fred’s Auto Body in Hoquiam.

A celebration of her life will be held later.

Delmur Neilson

Delmur Neilson, 89 years of age died peacefully on Dec. 27, 2019, in Aberdeen. He was born on Jan. 1, 1930, In Alberta, Canada to Holgar and Edith (Harper) Nielson.

The family requests donations be made to the Central Park Baptist Church, 6308 Central Park Drive, Aberdeen 98520.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m, Friday, Jan. 3, 2020, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Charles L. Miller. Concluding services and interment with military honors will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Betty Lou Frost

Betty Lou Frost, 80 years of age and a longtime resident of Hoquiam, Washington died on Dec. 15, 2019, at her home in Hoquiam. She was born on Jan. 7, 1939, in Minot, North Dakota to Emil and Helen (Free) Bulyca.

A wake will be held at 11 a.m, Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at the 40 et 8 Veterans Club, 2313 Simpson Avenue, in Aberdeen.
