Alexa R. Williamsen

Lifelong Aberdeen and Cosmopolis resident Alexa Rion Williamsen died May 7, 2023, as the result of a car accident in Tillamook, Oregon. She was 21.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 11, in the Aberdeen High School Auditorium, followed by a reception at the Hoquiam Elks. A complete obituary will follow in The Daily World.

Douglas I. Peterson

Douglas Irwin Peterson of Westport died Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 68.

Loren D. Burn

Loren Dean Burn, a 35-year-old resident of Montesano, died Monday, May 29, 2023.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

Roland “Rob” F. Strote of Aberdeen died at home Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was 70.

Dennis Duke

Dennis O. Duke, a Montesano resident and general contractor, died at home Saturday, May 27, 2023, due to Parkinson’s and a stroke. He was 77.

There will be no services.

Cremation arrangements are Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Debra Lee Kinsey

Debra Lee Kinsey of Montesano died Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Silver Acres Adult Care Home. She was 72.
