Deborah (Garmon) Thomas graced this world on Nov. 3, 1955, in Moline, Illinois. She set sail for the great beyond on Dec. 6, 2023, after bravely confronting hip surgery just days prior. She passed from complications at her Westport, Washington home. Deborah was 68.

She is survived by Paul, her devoted partner and husband of nearly 19 years, along with her children Beverly Woods, Coy Westlund, Zaryn Avaren and their families.

Deborah, a purveyor of warmth and authenticity, leaves behind a legacy illuminated by the sparkle in her eye. She danced through life, enamored by lighthouses, the rhythmic waves of the ocean, and expressed her artistic flair through canvas and crafts.

Travel was a cherished chapter in her story, as Deborah and her camera transformed every destination and adventure into a canvas of memories. Let’s not forget her canine companion, Zena, who faithfully shared Deb’s journeys.

Deborah’s spirit may have embarked on its final journey, but the echoes of her laughter and the enduring imprints of her radiant warmth live on in the hearts she touched.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
