Deborah Jane Baker, 57, a resident of Aberdeen since 1970, died at her home Monday, June 28, 2021. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, Nov. 3, 1963, the daughter of Paul and Janet (Lobaugh) Wakefield.
The family came to Aberdeen in 1970 and Deborah graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1981. She worked at various jobs during her lifetime, but a disability limited her abilities. She took care of family members, made Christmas wreaths to sell, but her love was for her dog, Tinker, a pug.
She is survived by a son, Robert (Sara) Baker, Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Crystal (Keith) Delahanty, Bremerton; her father, Paul (Sandra) Wakefield, Beavercreek, Oregon; a brother, David Wakefield, Aberdeen; five grandchildren and her mother, Janet Wakefield. Her brother, Kenneth Wakefield passed away in March of last year.
A family gathering will be held at a future time for the placement of urns of the family members in Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen.
