Denise Smith, age 68, passed away on Oct. 24, 2016, in Hoquiam, Wash. She was surrounded by her family and passed away at home as was her wish. She was born in Dillon, Mont., on Sept. 27, 1948.

Denise was an amazing grandma, wife, mother and community member.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Steve Smith of the family home in Hoquiam; three daughters, Cindy (Chris) Belote, Ida Fioretti, and Jackie (Brian) Franklin; two sons, Dan (Dani) Smith and Allen Smith; 23 grandchildren and 14 ¾ great- grandchildren.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 4, 2016, at the Elma Eagles, 404 W. Young Street, Elma, Wash. The reception will be hosted by her Eagles sisters.
