Dennis Brian Ruuska was born on September 26th, 1941, and passed to rest on February 5th, 2024.

Dennis was born in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington. He started his schooling at A.J. West School in Aberdeen and graduated high school from Columbia Academy in Battle Ground, Washington. Dennis attended Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington and graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California with BA degrees in both commercial art and sociology.

Dennis loved the outdoors and animals. He also loved working with his hands, particularly carpentry.

Dennis will be remembered as a quiet and gentle son and brother and a fastidious searcher of truth. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him best.

Dennis is survived by his two siblings, Russell Ruuska and Nancy Von Bergen of Cashmere, Washington.

Graveside time of remembrance will be on Friday March 15th at 1 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Cosmopolis, Washington.
