Diana Lea Cameron, 62, Montesano resident and longtime housekeeper for Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at her home in Montesano, Wash.
Diana was born in Omaha, Neb. to Raymond and Mary (Green) Campbell on Sept. 9, 1955. As a child she moved to Idaho and then to Iowa before landing in Montesano where she attended Wheeler High School.
She worked at Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen for over 30 years as a housekeeper, retiring four years ago when she was diagnosed with lung cancer.
She enjoyed embroidery and collecting anything with Mickey Mouse on it.
Diana is survived by her son Richard ‘Rick’ Cameron of Forks, Wash. and a daughter, Patty (Dan) Goodman-Monk of Havre, Mont.; sisters: Linda (Joseph) Weidman-Phillips of Sebring, Fla. and Cheri (Tony) Bradley of Grayland, Wash.; six granddaughters and two grandsons; her mother, Mary Tilley of Montesano and father Raymond Campbell of Blair, Alaska. She was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa ‘Sue’ Campbell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Elma Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints with a luncheon to follow.
Cremation Arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
