Donald Kietel, 71 years of age and a lifetime Harborite, died Dec. 14, 2017, at home in Pullman, Wash. He was raised and attended school on the Wishkah Valley and loved playing basketball for the school. He worked many years for Grays Harbor Veneer.

Donald is survived by his wife Donna Kietel of 51 years; mother Eileen Kietel of Aberdeen; daughter Tammy Simmons of Montesano; son Troy Kietel of Colfax, Wash.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He loved life and family, having friends and traveling.

There will be a celebration of life from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, at Country Estates, 57 Clemons Road, Montesano.
