Don was born June 21, 1955, in Seattle, Washington to Don and Christine (Stormo) Lyons. His childhood years were spent in Marysville, Washington, where he graduated from Marysville High School in 1973. He was married to Coral (Estes) on October 10, 1975.
Don began his career right out of high school at the Everett Weyerhaeuser pulp mill and transferred to the Cosmopolis Weyerhaeuser pulp mill in 1981.
Don loved his Savior, Jesus Christ, and went home to heaven on April 26, 2024. He cared deeply about others, enjoyed garage sales and spending time with family playing games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Christine Lyons, and his brothers Mike and Stephen. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Coral, daughter Carmin (Mark) McCullough and grandsons, Luke and Joel. Also, by his sister Cheryl (Rocky) Yunge, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
His love, faith and hope in Christ Jesus have guaranteed his eternity in heaven, and the family rejoices in knowing they will be reunited with him one glad day!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Light and Life Community Church, 2740 Simpson Avenue, Hoquiam, WA. at 1 p.m.
