Edward William Anderson passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Tacoma.

Edward William Anderson, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Orchard Park Care Center in Tacoma, Washington. He was 83 years old. Ed was born on March 21, 1937, to Glenn and Geneva Anderson in Port Townsend, Washington.

Grays Harbor is where Ed has called home most of his life. At 19 years old, Ed met the love of his life Delores Dehart, and they later married in 1955 in Aberdeen, Washington. Together they started a family and bought a house in Hoquiam, Washington. He was owner-operator at Ed Anderson Cutting, and then went on to be owner operator at A&A Trucking until his retirement. Ed enjoyed doing several outdoor activities but most of all he loved hunting and fishing.

Ed is survived by his wife of 65 years, Delores Anderson, who resides at the family home in Hoquiam, Washington; daughter Pam (Ron) Grant of Aberdeen, Washington and daughter-in-law Christie Anderson of Hoquiam, Washington; grandchildren: Jason Anderson, Shannon (Joe) German, Geoffery (Karen) Anderson, Kelce (Johnny) Boggs, Tiffiny Shoemate and Nicole Hinton; as well as great -grandchildren: Kyla German, Noelle Anderson, Brylee Boggs, Devon and Ethan Shoemate, and Isaiah and Camden Hinton. He is preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Geneva, son Bryan Anderson and brother Glenn Anderson.
