Eleanor Ann Stoy Cromwell went to be with the Lord Jan. 4, 2023 at her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

She was born in 1942 in Aberdeen, Washington to Emery and Isabel (Forbis) Stoy. She graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1960 and joined the United States Navy after graduation. Eleanor graduated from the University of Iowa and worked at several occupations in Pennsylvania and Iowa.

Eleanor is survived by a son, James (Betsy) Horton, grandchildren, Zoe and Derek, and a sister Julie Rabey of Montesano.

Besides her family, her greatest love was animals, especially those in need of rescue.
