Elizabeth (Lisa) R. Eide-Dupont, 61, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Lisa was born on April 16, 1955, to Jack and Kitty Eide in Seattle and grew up in Bellevue until she moved to Hoquiam in 1970. Lisa joined her father on the same date of his passing, exactly 37 years before.
Lisa’s hobbies included creating home decorations that she shared with family and friends as well as outdoor activities like camping and fishing.
She is survived by her mother, Kitty Eide of Hoquiam; her brothers, Stephen Eide (Fran) of Olympia, Chris Eide (Mona) of Hoquiam, Eric Eide (Tara) of Gresham, Ore.; her daughters, Kari MacKenzie-Morgan (Kyle) of Belfair, Veronica (Dupont) Erickson (Aaron) of Hoquiam, and Elizabeth (Dupont) Furth (Todd) of Hoquiam; along with her six grandchildren.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at the Hoquiam United Methodist Church, 520 5th St. on April 22, 2017, at 2 p.m. Condolences may be sent to 261 Wasco Ave., Hoquiam, WA 98550.
