Elva Holbrook died Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was 79.
She was married to Charles Holbrook for 31 years until he passed in 1998.
Chuck and Elva owned The Blue Beacon and the 707 restaurant from 1980-90, and they also owned several rental properties throughout Grays Harbor.
She owned Hair Fashions in Central Park then worked as a hair stylist at JC Penny’s Salon.
Elva loved cooking, playing bingo and playing pull tabs at Duffy’s.
She is survived by her children: James Vaughn, Charmia Holbrook, Charles “Gabe” Holbrook and Zane Holbrook, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed but she is home with her parents, siblings, husband and daughter Deborah Vaughn.
