Ernest “Ernie” James Kramer, age 52, a resident of Hoquiam, died on January 21, 2024, at Harbor Regional Hospital, in Aberdeen, Washington.
Ernie was born on October 13, 1971 in Aberdeen, Washington to parents Clifford and Patti (West) Kramer.
He attended Hoquiam schools and studied at Grays Harbor College.
Ernie had worked as a logger for various logging companies and for Weyerhaeuser for 13 years. He loved fishing, camping, clam digging, and any time spent with his family. He was proud to watch his kids and grandchildren at any sport they played. He also enjoyed winding down to his favorite show “Gunsmoke.”
Surviving relatives included three daughters, Alicia Kramer of Perryville, Missouri; Kelsey Kramer of Hoquiam and Holly Kramer of Aberdeen; two sons Dakota Kramer and Trenton Kramer, both of Onalaska; parents Cliff “Skip” and Patti Kramer of Hoquiam; two granddaughters, Aubrey Mapel and Summer Barr; brothers Duane and Kelly Kramer both of Hoquiam and sister Jodi Kramer of Puyallup.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen on Sunday, February 25th, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
