Evelyn Elliott was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 28, 1952. She passed away June 15, 2020, at the age of 68.
She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she attended school and in 1970 her entire family moved to Aberdeen, Washington where she got her GED and attended Grays Harbor College where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education as well as her AA Degree.
Evelyn worked at various jobs over the years, Grays Harbor County Health Department, Ocean Spray, Aberdeen School District and retired from Walmart after 15 years there!
Evelyn enjoyed going to Bingo and crocheting blankets. She always enjoyed spending her time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Evelyn is known for her huge loving heart and always being funny and kind. She has always been supportive and helpful of her family and friends always wanting to help them succeed in life.
She loved to cook homemade foods and desserts as well as making flower arrangements and decorations for family weddings and events. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and had something to eat.
Evelyn was an exceptional wife, mother, sister, grandma, great grandma. She cared deeply for her family and everyone around. Evelyn was forever first to offer help. She was so very creative and loved to help. She has always been family oriented and has been supportive to everyone.
Evelyn Elliott is survived by her husband, Conny Elliott of 47 years; her children, Robert and (Carla) Elliott of Aberdeen, WA, Sherry Sundberg of Austin, TX; Bridget and (Tracy) Steinborn of Aberdeen, WA and Christina and (Ted) Jensen of Elma, WA; three stepchildren, Conny Elliott, Jr. of Vancouver, WA, Errol Elliott of Oregon and Mark Elliott of Vancouver, WA; her sister, Jane and (Gary) Belles of Aberdeen; WA; her brother, Dave and (Cathy) Kain of Quilcene, WA; 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren. While many others have considered Evelyn their surrogate mother.
Evelyn was preceded in death in death by her father, Robert Lobaugh; her mother, Elizabeth (Seibert) Lobaugh; her sister, Janet Wakefield, her brother, Robert “Bobby” Lobaugh and her stepdaughter, Debbie Elliott.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
