Frances Moe, 83, passed away Dec. 27, 2017, in Centralia, Wash. She was born June 22, 1934, to Hugo Smith Blevins and Anna Margaret (Kavanagh) Blevins in Shelby, Mont. She resided in Elma, Wash. for more than 60 years.
Frances married Eugene Moe in 1952; he passed away in March 1992.
She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and tending her home. She was happiest surrounded by family and friends. If you were a friend, you were considered family. Affectionately known as “Granny,” she had a great sense of humor and was the heart of her family.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Moe of McCleary, Wash., Rob Moe of Elma, and Gary Moe of Shelton, Wash.; daughters, Rhonda Sutherland of Centralia, Wash., and Twyla Moe of Oakville, Wash.; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Blevins of Shelton; and sister, Edith Edwards of Shelton. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Moe; son, Sidney Moe; brothers, Thomas and Greg Blevins; and sister, Martha Hall.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, 11:30 a.m. at Masonic Cemetery in Elma. A celebration of life will follow at VFW Hall in McCleary.
