After a year-long battle with Esophageal Cancer, Frank R. Belmont passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2016, at home surrounded by his family.
Frank Richard Belmont was born in South Bend, Wash. on Dec. 1, 1967 to Gary and Twyla Belmont. He graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1986. Frank married his high school sweetheart Mary Whidden in 1988 and they have one son, Travis.
After working most of his youth within the Weyerhaeuser Company, he decided to follow his dream and got into automotive customizing and repair. This all started when he got a job working for Cornell Automotive Supply. After many years he decided to go out on his own and started “Hot Wheels Automotive” repairing and painting cars and trucks.
Five years ago Frank found his true calling to be a stay-at-home father homeschooling his son and building a farm. Frank loved cars, animals and most of all being a dad.
Frank is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary, his son, Travis, mother, Twyla Belmont, mother-in-law, Marilyn Whidden and grandmother, Patricia Walker. He was also very close to his Aunt Punkie, Dolores Carl and is survived by many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary F Belmont, grandmother, Ileata Belmont and uncle, Dan Carl.
There will be a celebration of life on Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at CrossRoads Church, 707 Commercial Street, Raymond, Wash. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
We want to say a special thanks to the staff of Swedish Medical Center, The Cancer Center, Volunteer Hospice of Clallam Co and OMC Home Health for all their love, support and expertise taking care of our loved one Frank. We love you.
