Fred “Canuck” Davy, 72, passed away Jan. 12, 2020, in Auburn, Washington, from acute respiratory failure.
Fred was born Nov. 14, 1947, in Vancouver, B.C., to Marie-Jeanne Bouthot and Les Davy. He was raised in British Columbia and resided there until moving to Grays Harbor in 1977.
He was a log truck driver for over 40 years working for numerous employers. He loved the Montreal Canadiens, gardening and the Seahawks.
Fred married Gloria Hansen in Hope, B.C., on April 23, 1966.
Fred is survived by his wife, Gloria, his children, Les, Shari and Robert Davy, his sister, Milly McKay, and his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Noah, Parker and Elijah Davy and his dog, Buster.
A potluck memorial service will be held at the Hoquiam Elks on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020 at 1 p.m.
