Gary L. Papp

Gary Lee Papp passed away at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Wash., at the age of 50.

Gary Lee Papp passed away at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Wash., at the age of 50. Gary was born Sept. 27, 1967, in San Jose, Calif.

He was a member of the Quinault Indian Nation. He was a graduate of North Beach High School. After high school, he served in the Army. Gary graduated from Grays Harbor College and then graduated from the Green River Community College, with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He had been employed by Assured Home Health in Aberdeen, Wash.

Gary and Karen were married Aug. 5, 1994.

He was a passionate fisherman and golfer, who shared his passions with everyone.

Gary is survived by his father, Daniel G. Papp Sr.; wife, Karen Papp; sons, Jeremy and Samuel Brougher; granddaughters, Amelia and Maeve Brougher; brothers, Daniel G. Papp Jr. and Nelson E. Papp (Mary); nieces Krissa and Kamimi Papp and nephew David Papp. He is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine L. (Masten) Papp and brothers, Kevin, Larry, and David Papp.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Community Center in Taholah, Wash. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gary’s life. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
