Hoquiam resident Gary Parker died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, in Seattle.

Gary was born July 17, 1965, to Homer and Doris Parker. He graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1984. After school Gary began logging for Papac Logging. He then moved on to work for Rognlin’s Construction.

Gary was previously married to Dawn McMillan with whom he shared two sons, Cameron and Cody.

Gary enjoyed the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and would often mushroom pick and loved to visit the bay. Gary was involved in local softball for many years. He was very easy-going with many friends, but he especially enjoyed hanging out with his best buddy Bolly.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Homer Parker. He is survived by his mother Doris Parker of Hoquiam; his brother Allen Parker of Pacific Beach; his two sons, Cameron (Kayla) Parker of Montesano and Cody Parker of Hoquiam.

Due to COVID-19 the family will not be holding a formal service.
