Georgine Kissel Osborn, 76, Aberdeen resident and crafter, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at her home in South Aberdeen.
Georgine was born on Nov. 26, 1940, in Auburn, Wash. to Larry and Ruby (Bullis) Kissel.
She graduated from high school in Puyallup.
She was married Richard E. Osborn; he died on Oct. 3, 1981, in Hoquiam, Wash. Before that she was married to Gerald Stott.
Georgine was a ‘Candy Striper’ at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen for many years. She also volunteered on the Crisis Line for 7 years.
She enjoyed knitting, doll collecting, Karaoke and drives with lifetime friend, Forrest. She also enjoyed daffodils and 1950’s era music.
Georgine is survived by two sons: Larry (Glenda) Stott of Aberdeen and Jerry Stott of Grayland; a sister Diane (Argel) Oberquell of Olympia; two grandchildren: Larry Stott Jr., Melissa Schnase and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Schnase.
There will be a celebration of Georgine’s life on Saturday, March 25, at 1 p.m. in The Aberdeen Elks Lodge.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
