Herb F. Bray passed away peacefully on July 1, 2020, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Herb was born on Sept. 6, 1929, in Aberdeen to Wellabelle Atkins. He graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1948 and was a lifelong Aberdeen resident. He owned a few businesses in Aberdeen and enjoyed a full and colorful life. Herb was a member of the Aberdeen Elks, Eagles and the 40et8, which he frequented often. He enjoyed visiting with his friends at the 40et8, especially Rosie and Connie.

Herb was preceded in death by his mother, Wellabelle; brother Keith Bray, and his companion of 28 years, Darlene McCaw. He is survived by his sons, Kim (Lori) Bray of Meridian, Idaho; Mark Bray (Patti) of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; and daughter Gay Bray of Seattle; his grandsons, Shawn Sinnett (Regina) of Aberdeen and Tyler (Rachel) Clifford of Tacoma , and seven great-grandchildren of Aberdeen.

Due to the current circumstances, a celebration of Herb’s life will be held in September.
