Maryjane Tereski Ramsaur, 85, of Morton, Washington passed away in Morton on Nov. 5, 2023. Maryjane was born May 17, 1938, in Seattle, Washington, to Fred Tereski and Ethelyn (Obrien) Tereski. Maryjane graduated from Centralia High School and attended Centralia College. Maryjane married her sweetheart, William Howard Ramsaur, in Centralia Aug. 24, 1957.
Maryjane worked in the elementary schools as a teacher’s aide when her kids were in school, to be close to her kids. Maryjane and Bill owned Harriet Goff’s Lingerie and The Clothes Closet in the early ‘80s in downtown Centralia. Maryjane really enjoyed painting, crafts, knitting and cross stitching. She would sell her items in consignment stores in Colorado. If you were lucky enough to get one of her pieces, she always initialed the back and dated them! Maryjane really enjoyed traveling in their motor home. They were hard to keep track of — they were always on the go. They settled in Colorado for 20 years and then as they aged moved back to the Harbor to be closer to their daughter and other family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Howard Ramsaur, her father Fred Tereski and mother Ethelyn (Obrien) Tereski.
Maryjane is survived by her daughter Debbie (Steve Bickar) Buzzard of Hoquiam; sons William Howard “Bill” Ramsaur Jr. of Ocean Shores and Stephen (Joyce) Ramsaur of Victoria, Texas; grandchildren Jenilee (Scotty) Ray and Lacey Buzzard both of Chehalis, Becky Godden of Bailey, Colorado, and Stephanie (Steve) Sharp of Victoria, Texas; and numerous great-grandchildren. Maryjane is also survived by her sisters, Carol (Tereski) Glanville and Donna (Tereski) Turner both of Mill Creek, brothers Fred Tereski of Centralia and Harold Tereski of Chillicothe, Missouri.
