James W. Davidson, age 75, passed away on Nov. 16, 2016 at his home in Aberdeen from lung cancer. He was born on Jan. 10 1941 in Manlius, Ill. to Wilbur and Genive Davidson. He married Linda Davidson and later married Bobbie Davidson, she passed on Feb. 12, 2001.

He enjoyed doing outdoor things with his daughter.

James is survived by his daughter Tammy Davidson; his son Robert Lamkin and ex-wife Christy Barker; brother Lester (Dolly) Davidson; grandchildren Abrina Blackburn, Melcina Knapp, and Danielle Lamkin and great-grandchild JayDen Dermates.

A memorial service will be held on Jan. 7, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 400 E First St., Aberdeen at 2 p.m.
